Adventure Packages

The Hood River Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. This makes us one of the premier Oregon getaway destinations in the Northwest. Whether it's a company retreat, family vacation or a solo traveler, these custom packages provide high spirited adventure for all to enjoy. Tickets and lessons can be added to any room type when completing the online reservation form. All adventure trips are valid after your first night stay. For example, an overnight stay for Friday would allow you to purchase a lift ticket, rafting trip or train ride for Saturday. Mt. Hood Meadows Lift Tickets $50

Mt. Hood Meadows is by far the largest and most popular ski resort on the mountain. The Black Diamond and Buttercup runs provide everyone in the family with plenty of happiness. Lift tickets are valid for day/night skiing - these are not vouchers! No waiting in line! Remember our Jacuzzi & Sauna awaits all "worthy" skiers.

Whitewater Rafting

Challenge the rapids of the White Salmon River. Steep canyon walls create a spectacular scenic two and a half hour trip. Zoller's Outdoor Odyssey is the most experienced professional guide service on the river. This package includes all the necessary equipment and instructions along with experienced guides. Windsurfing Lessons - Beginners

Learn from the best. Big Winds has the largest rental center and most experienced staff in the gorge. If you have never taken a lesson before or want to refresh your basic skills, this is the class for you! You will be on the water in no time, learning sailing stance, steering, and basic turning. A 2hr. beginner lesson includes all the necessary equipment. Daily start times are 9am, 12pm and 3pm. On the second day you will have another 2 hr. lesson followed by an additional hour of practice time.

Each package is made to order and placed in the guest room prior to arrival. All romance packages are considered a "Surprise"and will not be posted or spoken of during the check-in process.

We only ask when completing the on-line reservation you indicate the "color" of Rose(s) and the "type" of wine; Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay or Non-alcoholic Sparking Wine.
