We have had our doors open for 102 years and have seen the invention of the automobile, modern street lights, telephone, television and internet just to name a few.
We have renovated and remodeled through the years but the vintage charm is still root in our foundation and visible throughout our hotel.

The Hood River Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. This makes us one of the premier Oregon getaway destinations in the Northwest. Whether it's a company retreat, family vacation or a solo traveler, these custom packages provide high spirited adventure for all to enjoy. Tickets and lessons can be added to any room type when completing the online reservation form. All adventure trips are valid after your first night stay. For example, an overnight stay for Friday would allow you to purchase a lift ticket, rafting trip or train ride for Saturday. Whitewater Rafting

Almost everyone agrees there is certainly a lure to a romantic historic hotel such as the Hood River Hotel. Our intimate boutique hotel brings simplicity to the romance world. Each package is made to order and placed in the guest room prior to arrival. All romance packages are considered a "Surprise"and will not be posted or spoken of during the check-in process.
We only ask when completing the on-line reservation you indicate the "color" of Rose(s) and the "type" of wine; Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay or Non-alcoholic Sparking Wine.
